Specialized Engraving's Options for Business Card Cases
We carry about 15 different styles of business card cases. The case itself can be brass, silver or gold tone, leather, or wood. A brass case with silver tone accents, engraved with gold lettering on a gold front, is the height of elegance. A brushed aluminum case with a satin finish and silver-on-silver engraving is subtle, understated, and appropriate for absolutely anyone. Wood cases (especially maple finished wood) are almost startling in their beauty and simplicity. Many people find that they get compliments on wood cases and enjoy their sophisticated and dramatic impact.
If you run a small business, you may decide to get all of your employees personalized engraved business card cases. Card cases are so attractive that they make wonderful gifts, and they also encourage employees to carry their cards with them and offer them to potential clients. One to three lines of text can be engraved, depending on the style of the case, or you can go with simple monograms for each individual or clip art which represents your company.

1. With or without engraving?
An engraved business card case presents a sense of permanence, of being established. If you’ve put forth the effort to personalize your business accessories (business card holders, business card cases, name tags for your employees) you’re more likely to still be around tomorrow.
If you choose to personalize your business card case, Specialized Engraving, LLC offers over 40 type styles to choose from. Some business card cases have room for accent lines, accent pairs and/or clip art.
- Check out all the letters of the alphabet (by clicking on the ABC square that will pop up next to the type style name) to be sure you like all of the letters you’ll be using.
- If you are wanting words in all capital letters, very few type styles will work. Roman, Century, Contemporary and Gothic, and other simple styles will work the best.
- Adding clip art or accent pairs will affect the amount of text that can be engraved.
All of the aluminum and brass business card cases come with a burgundy felt pouch to help protect the cases from scratches.
The handsome leather and metal, or unusual wood topped business card cases don’t have the option of engraving. However, they are eye catching and elegant enough to stand on their own!

3. Types of Business Card Cases:
- Aluminum business card cases are light weight and the least expensive of the engraved card cases. With a large engraved area, these cases can have up to 3 lines of engraving, plus a logo or clip art. If you don’t wish for clip art, you can have accent pairs or lines to add an extra touch to your card case.
- Brass business card cases are a traditional classic. Brass gives a feeling of richness and elegance. Depending on the style of the brass case, it can have from 1 to 3 lines of engraving, clip art, accent pairs or lines.
- Leather business card cases make very handsome and durable card cases. These are the perfect case for those who are tough on their apparel! While no engraving is available on these cases, they will hold up to some tough wear and tear.
- Wood and wood topped business card cases offer an unusual twist to the standard card case. Maple finished wood cases are very popular as a ladies gift.
